        The City of Vienna Police Department is a 24-hour full service police force responsible for the enforcement of all laws and ordinances of the State of Illinois and the City of Vienna, to include animal control ordinances.  The Vienna Police Department is comitted to the public safety of the citizens of Vienna.

The Vienna Police Department currently has five State of Ilinois Certified Police Officers, 4 full-time officers and 2 part-time officer.

The Vienna Police Department is an active member of the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS).  As a member, the Vienna PD has responded to the following mutal aid activiations:

  • May 8, 2009 Storm in Williamson County
  • 2011 Flooding in Cairo, IL
  • February 29, 2012 Tornado in Harrisburg, IL
